Summer is a time for festivities regardless of our ethnicity. It’s the time to celebrate the great weather, to be outdoors with family and friends, especially because kids are on school break. There’s a lot of activities to choose from and places to go to. Here in Winnipeg, there are upcoming Filipino-Canadian events that I’ve listed below with some details and links for reference. The calendar format is particularly useful for planning purposes. These events are sizzling hot, having been organized by fellow Filipinos and/or participated in by many Pinoys, and therefore are close to our hearts. Let’s take pride and share the calendar to friends, and invite others so they could also experience the Filipino-Canadian culture this summer.
